In short: The best organised half-marathon I have experienced to date. There are so many things that are good about it: public support, variable surroundings, scenic sea views, post race facilities, goody bag, speedy result service. A great sense of occasion!!

In short: A wonderfully organised, well-supported race
In full: Excellent all round race. Would recommend it to anyone. Hope they keep it at around current entry no's as just right at the moment. Well done to everyone who's involved in the great organisation.

In short: Well organised, great scenery (most of it) and googy bag contest better than most. One of the best unless after PB thanks to splendid climb back to Hoe in last mile.

In short: First Half for me and enjoyed all of it considering I hadn't run more than 9 miles.
In full: To compare against other races I have done at various distances, this one shows just what can be done at a race to give you a thoroughly worthwhile day's running. I am addicted to Halfs now and although Plymouth was a hilly one, it deserves the accolade of a gold graded event as water, sponges, food and goodie bags were great.

In short: Well organised, good value, scenic, something for all standards
In full: It's a pity it is limited to so few runners. Not what I would call a PB course but nonetheless enjoyable. The only thing I could fault was despite the fact food was plentiful at the end there was nothing for veggies.

In short: An excellent race, good course, fantastic organisation, great support, goody bag and new PB.
In full: One of my favourite half marathons. A large field of runners, a great start and finish, very well organised, an imaginative goody bag, gopod runners recuperation area. Not an easy course, but not one of the more difficult (for Devon in any instance). you can get a PB here, got a 1:26 in 2004 and a 1:22 in 2005. Good fast downhill bits, mostly flattish with a few climbs. Save something though for the climb at mile 12 up the Citadel.
