In short: A very well organised and friendly event.
In full: A very hot day and with one notable hill (twice), this race proved to be a bit tougher than anticipated. The scenic marshland section and encouraging marshalls were great though. Suprised that more don't enter!!

In short: A race with everything.
In full: This race had everything, ups, downs, scenery, club runners, slow runners. The gruelling hill about 7 miles kept things interesting but the downhill afterwards gave you chance to get your breath. Great day out with excellent organisation.
One thing I would say is that on such a hot day it would have been nice to have bottled water at the end, had to help yourself to it from a barrel.
Good race, would do it again.

In full: Haven't got any gripes. The course is okay although the hill hurts a bit on the second lap.

In short: First 10 Mile Event and did better than my own 10 mile route
In full: Lovely time and finished eight minutes better than my own 10 mile route or I run further than I thought although mine is more hilly. Definately would do it again. I liked that it was 2 laps so I new what was coming after 5 miles.

In short: AN ENJOYABLE AND CHALLENGING 10 MILE RACE
In full: MY FIRST EVER 10 MILE RACE AND THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT. NICELY ORGANISED WITH A GOOD UPLIFTING MC ANNOUNCER THAT MADE FOR A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE. THE SPORTS CENTRE ALSO OFFERED GOOD FACILITIES. TWO TOWN/PARK BASED 5 MILE LAPS WITH A LONG HILL TO FOR AN ADDED CHALLENGE.

In short: Good 2 lap course around central Burton.
In full: It's been 2 years since i ran this race, slightly different route, only down side was the wind , it was blowing hard! Can't fault the organisers for that though.
This is a well organised event, the course is definite PB potential, 1 hill that drags more than anything, especially second time round, but it would be hard to find a 10 miler with less hills in the midlands.
Good support from the marshalls and at the start/finish, but as in my post from 2006 the locals don't seem that interested, never mind, they are the ones missing out.

In short: A very enjoyable 2 lap race. Well done the organisers, who had to alter the course at short notice.
