In short: Excellent organisation, which is the most important part to get right in a race.
In full: Nice route that would've been better without the wind, but can't choose the conditions, so certainly no fault there to anyone or for anything to do with the race as went like clockwork.
Nice to get a hat that can be used instead of a medal that would go straight in a box somewhere!

In full: The course is fairly undulating but fairly traffic free and the glorious sunshine really added to the sense of the spring in the air. I enjoyed the modifications to the course with the finish now being a gentle downhill. The changing/toilet facilities at the beginning were a bit cramped and I think for race of this length bottled water could be provided as opposed to a cup where the majority gets spilled. Nice idea to provide a hat in the goody bag that will get a lot more use than a t-shirt…nice race for a spring assault on the marathons.

In short: A great race - well organised with supportive marshals; lovely weather and a PB to boot!
In full: Really enjoyed this.
Organisation was smooth and marshals were very supportive; particularly appreciated as the rural nature of the course did not really offer many other opportunities for spectators. Well spaced water stations. Bit of a delay at the start. Suggest advertising the public toilets off the market square by the start to help relieve queues at event centre.
Cold but clear and bright weather - perfect but for the Easterly breeze.
Route was more undulating than I had expected and had an incline for most of the last mile, but was fast - delighted to smash my target time (was first time I had run this distance)! Liked the double loop.
A race I am very likely to do again.
Thanks to all involved with putting this on.

In short: Well organised, excellent marshalls, great warm up for marathon.
In full: A well organised race, excellent scenic course and a nice warm up for the marathon. The marshalls gave excellent support. My only slight negative, as per another reviewer, that a medal rather than a hat would be a nice gesture after 20 miles and the entrance fee warranted slightly more than what the goody back had to offer.

In short: Well organied but would have maybe prefered a medal to hat as 20 miles is a long way!!

In short: Drive you steady
In full: A bit sorry for the longer-finishers - not even a cup of tea available for the stragglers. And, nice hat, but for people training for their first marathon I still think a piece of bling would have been nicer.
