In short: Speed!
In full: This course is flat and great for anyone chasing a PB, the rain this year was a benefit to me as it helped to stay cool, the weather for a change was mild /cool with little wind, unsual for this event!
It feels very clubby and you can tell by the lack of talking on route that most are here to run for a good time!
The organisation improves every year and the goody bag and medal were actually very good.
Parking was also well organised and easy to get in and out.
Recommend this 10K to any runners but would suggest that if you are a beginner this may not be the best choice as a first race.

In short: Perfect organisation, pity about the weather
In full: Excellent venue, easy to get in and out with good parking near the start. Scenery a bit dull in the rain, probably better in sunny weather. Certainly worth repeating next year.

In short: Flat, flat, flat ... and wet!
In full: Would agree with most of the comments already posted. One minor complaint though - can we have proper chip timing? There was no chip system at the start, and worse no line on the road to see when to start your watch. I was left not knowing if I did a PB or not, but I will trust my own watch and say that I did!

Otherwise the organisation was faultless. Will be back next year.

In short: Only thing they couldn't organise was the weather!
In full: Well organised, easily accessible from many locations, well marked, flat course, chip timing, good selection of support retailers/facilities, good goody bag etc.

All in all excellent value for money - especially when you compare with the British 10k tomorrow, which will cost £35 and is almost certainly going to be shambolic... again...!
