In short: Very well organised traffic free race In full: I was a little apprehensive about my first evening race, but parking was easy and on the night entry was hassle free.Definite PB potential - course is almost flat and is obviously traffic free. Very well organised - thank you! Date of review: May 15, 2012
In short: Very well organised and enjoyable race In full: Very well organised race. The marshal's were very encouraging and friendly. The chip timing system worked really well and the medal was excellent. It's a really good race to try for a PB. Date of review: May 15, 2012
In short: Great experience and excellent medal In full: Organisation was flawless; the race started bang on time with no hitches. Marshalls were very friendly and supportive, which was a boost when you're right on the far side of the track away from all the supporters. The course itself is essentially flat (a few rises and falls, but nothing much) so excellent PB potential. If you're a fan of GP it's great to be there where it all happens; I'm not, but still enjoyed the experience. Chip timing worked perfectly and I enjoyed the fact that the chip was attached to your number, so no fiddling around with laces or having to remove it at the end. Finally, I was really impressed with the medal. It's a simple design, but a solid, quality medal and my current favourite medal received (and that includes some from big races run by Bupa). A definite recommendation. Date of review: May 15, 2012
In short: I know that I am biased but ...! In full: A huge thank you to all runners that took part. A record number of finshers (1,111 including the wheelchair athletes). A record number of entrants on the night (Over 400).
Apologies to those that did not get a medal. We had ordered 1,200 but only had 1,000 delivered (we did not count them beforehand). We have ordered more medals and will get these to you as soon as we can.
See you all again in 2013

In short: Great race. Well organised. Well done to all involved! In full: Good, more or less flat course and traffic free. Large spread of runners including some "more seniors" like me. Suitable for all abilities but for those who want one, definite PB potential. Very well organised and marshalled. I enjoyed the whole evening and the rain more or less kept off. In short: Petrol head running heaven!! In full: This was my first 10k having started running in Jan after decades of smoking. It was a pleasure to run this track being a massive GP fan and the fact that I wasn't last made it even better. The "on the night" registration was busy but quickly sorted. I will definately do this again next year and probably opt to run the half Marathon... my lungs have never felt better!!! Date of review: May 10, 2012
