In short: Fantastic race, just a shame about the weather!
In full: What would've been a lovely, scenic race unfortunately turned into a miserable, cold, wet, muddy one. Fair play to the organisers and marshals though. They were as enthusiastic and supportive as they could be, even in pouring rain. And organisers certainly did their best to try to make the finish area as safe as possible given the mud field it turned into. There was hay put down on the corner into the straightaway and announcements to slow down safely once you'd crossed the finish. No faults or complaints from me, just a real shame about the weather. Just couldn't be helped though.

In full: Being a local this always a draw for me, but I love this race. Like many have said, going thru the town twice is great for runners and more importantly, your supporters, as they see u twice in the 1st 5 miles or so without dashing here and there. Great support, well marshalled, but agree about water in the cups - not good, but luckily didn't need this year due to cooler conditions. Last year was scorching. Payback this year I feel? :-) Defo do again. Maybe organisers could have 'expected finish time' signs along the start so everyone is roughly in right position. Only a minor thing tho as you get people wrongly positioned at most races.

In short: 4th time and always delivers - great organisation despite hideous weather
In full: I love this race but may be biased living on the route in Fleet! It is always really well organised and this year was no exception. The marshals were superb with loads of encouraging words (especially the guy just after the 8 mile mark!!!) and the best thing is the fantastic support through the town centre. Can't wait until next year

In short: Great Organisation, friendly marshalls, lovely scenic route
In full: Felt like a real community race - shame about the weather but lots of enthusiastic supporters en route, nightmare hill at the end , very efficient baggage drop, lovely scenery and close roads were a real bonus - will definitely do it again
