In short: Excellent, friendly and thoroughly professional event.
In full: Many thanks to everybody involved in organising and delivering BHM 2011. Previously did the event in the middle of the pack. This year did it as a run /walk with my brother. Once again, thoroughly impressed with the organisation, fellow participants and spectacular course. Looking forward to 2012.

In short: As good as ever!
In full: This is a superb event, for many different reasons, which everyone should either run, jog, or walk at least once in their lives. Whatever way you do it you will not be disappointed! Roll on 2012.

In short: Super-friendly with a host of fab little touches
In full: This race is a hidden gem. I'm a real back-of-the-packer but as they allow walkers even if you take 8.5 hours like I did you'll still have company! Totally glorious views, an imaginative route and super-friendly officials (last year one marshall tied my shoelaces, this year one opened my water bottle for me when I was struggling while another one kept the baggage room open until late in order to hand my bag back to me personally). This is a gruelling off-road race with what seems like never-ending hills and yet it's small, special and exhilarating. Also, the never-ending supply of top-quality snacks and hot drinks (who ever heard of crisp sausage rolls and hot soup being served mid-race - heavenly!) plus the meal at the end make this a very memorable experience. Thanks to the organisers for the great deal of trouble they always go to to make sure this race is one you'll never forget!
