In short: Fantastic marshalling in awful conditions
In full: As a marathon newbie I found it challenging to say the least. The first two laps were fine before the legs started to wobble. Thanks to all the runners who gave encouragement for my final 5 mile walk/slowest jog ever.

In short: Excellent organisation and cheerful marshall's especially considering the weather.
In full: Only piece of constructive criticism would be to get rid of the cups at the drink stations and replace with bottles. the only way to take on enough fluid is either to stop or have on course supporters. That said all the marshalls and water stop helpers deserve a massive thank you for all the support on a truely (weather wise) miserable day.

In short: A fantastic event with bad weather!
In full: I must say that this was a fantastic event, unfortunately the bad weather made the run very hard work. but that was out of the control of those who organized the event. The marshaling was unbelievable in the foul conditions and the addition of the relay made for a great atmosphere, and if you lifted your head up at looked around some of the scenery outside of luton was very pleasant. well done to Dunstable road runners & Stopsley striders For a great Day, Thank You.

In short: Not a great visual course and 3 laps is always mentallt tough but you don't enter marathons unless you like a challenge and this gets you on several fronts - including weather which seems to be an annual factor
In full: Marshalls and police were fantastic - one was clearly bored and doing mud sliding! All vrey encouraging especially the lady by the woody bit trying to convince us it was sunny and nice. This is undulating but no tough hills and well watered so a good 1st marathon for those who are unsure about their distance capability - it really is easier in the cold than the hot weather - I set a personal best yesterday. A definite favourite for being what a marathon should be TOUGH - physically and mentally - if you want an easy one go to Stratford.

In short: Organisation 1st class
In full: Even though the weather was against us, it was still a great race to run, marshalls was fantastic, water stations were spot on which made me run a great time.
Thanks again

In short: Not the most exciting but i still enjoyed it
In full: Ok, its not the most stunning place to run on earth, but it was ok. Good organisation, a little thin on support and as such lacked a little atmosphere. Weather was awful so it would have been really hard for a marathon as the 3 laps would have become a real ball ache

In short: The race marshalls were fantastic!!
In full: It was a 'special run' for me as I'd set myself a challenge to do one marathon a month in 2007. Luton was the 12th. of 12! The weather was fowl and the three lap course was mentally tough, but I have to praise the organisers for putting on such a well-run event. The marshalls,(incl the police), were cheery and incredibley supportive of us runners. They deserved the biggest appaulse of the day and I'd like to say a big 'thankyou' to them all!

In short: Lovely Day Dontcha know
In full: 2nd time - this year only in Relay. the worst conditions I ever raced in. Not for faint hearted - all the bad bits make this fun - although only after you have dried out. Actually felt for the Marshalls - 5 -6 hours getting battered. thanks kids!! Low light - wasting a pound on evil chips from burger van. *hurls*
