In short: Well organised event. If only they could fix the weather
In full: Firstly hats off to Worksop Harriers and their organisation team they got it absolutely spot on. Web-site gave clear info, plenty of toilets at the start and well organised at the finish. Many other larger events should take note!

Course highly 'undulating' and the thirty minute rain-storm didn't help, but still recorded a PB so happy enough.

Well done Worksop.

In short: Always one of of favourite halves to run.
In full: The guys with the sponges need a pat on the back. The signage was great!! I got to them just as the heavens opened up, so it was a matter of sponging water off rather than on. Finish very well organised as usual.

In short: Didn't enjoy the constant undulations to be honest, but well organisedd
In full: This was OK. I found the constant undulations a bit iritating and was crying out for some flat running for a bit. Well done to the organisers though

In short: Organisation superb - other races take note!
In full: Wow. Cracking run - enough hills to make it a test, marshalling absolutely superb. Great t-shirt. Good facilities. I can't fault it. One of the best events I've ever done.

In short: The organisation was fantastic, especially the excellent website ! Surprisingly hard race , the inclines plus the rain definitely test you, but the great scenery more than makes up for it. Any idea where to ge the results from ? -

In short: Great even in the rain
In full: Fantastic traffic free road sections, quite a spectacal to see a stream of runners climbing the hill in front of you and look back to see a stream behind you.
Clumber Park in the autumn is beautiful and takes your mind off how you're feeling. Managed a PB to cap the day off nicely. My 3rd Worksop 1/2 where do i sign for the 4th

In short: Well organised event. Scenic, unchallenging course.
In full: My first half-marathon, decided to do this at the last minute but very glad I did. Organisation very good (excellent website) and marketplace made a very good starting area given the slightly inclement weather. Course is scenic and mildly undulating so makes it a good one for a beginner. Very friendly marshalls, plenty of water stations and excellent tea and cakes at the end!

Only slight grumble would be over the use of RFID timing - this is not true chip-timing as it does not record the time you go over the start line, only the time you finish after the start gun has gone off. It took at least a minute of me to cross the start line so doesn't record my true time.

In short: Undulating course, always harder work than I think it should be. But very scenic and very well organised.
In full: Rained in the middle adding the odd water splash, but who cares. Enjoyable
