In short: Hard work, but great fun.
In full: So much mud and so many enthusiastic marshalls, combined with great weather to make this a really enjoybale and tough event. Def be back again next year.

In short: Brill. looking forward to next year.
In full: No rain to wash the mud off and it ended up being baked on by the sun! Entered my son this year (and beat him) for the first time and now he's discovered how much fun there is to be had. Great course obviously designed by a very disturbed person:)

In short: My favourite race each year!
In full: This was my 4th Slog and I loved every minute of it. The weather was perfect today, the mud was plentiful, the atmosphere was great. Fun having that guy doing the dancey warm-up! Excellent goody bag. Very well organised. Thanks for the jelly beans along the way too - there's nothing like eating them from muddy smelly hands!

In short: Sunday mornings don't get better than this
In full: Completely loved it - from the last post (why does this always make me cry) to the last lot of mud. It's completely crazy, but I end up laughing the whole way round. It's very hard work too, but this isn't about PBs. I'm still finding mud in places I didn't know possible. Ok - so cleaning my kit and boots afterwards probably takes longer than doing the race, but well worth it. Great organisation, lovely smiley enthusiastic marshalls and a perfect autumnal day. And thanks to Mark from Hogweed (I think) who was out of a run when I asked him where the start was (as I'd managed to get completely lost in the town) and he kindly gave me a lift to the start. Runners are the nicest people in the world - it's official.

In short: This is my third year running this race and I will definitely be back next year. Must wetter and muddier than previous years but that adds to the fun! Well organised race would defintely recommend

In short: All the mud and water it promised with great marshals, goody-bag and sense of occasion.
In full: Oh why did I race and pull a hamstring yesterday? It meant my slowest Slog yet, but gave me time to enjoy the autumn sun and chat to other slower runners. The Sodbury Slog is what running is all about - but not if you don't like mud!
