In short: Excellent run, with fantastic facilities. Thank you to all the organisers and race officials.
In full: A run that is really welcoming, and an opportunity for runners stepping up a distance. No real hills on the run, just a few gentle inclines, (if you want hills - try Longridge 7 on the 14th Dec).
A race certainally worth pencilling in for next year.

In short: Really happy got my PB!
In full: Did the Wesham 10k last year as one of my first races and thought I did really well. This year I couldnt believe it as I knocked a full 5 mins off my previous race time to 49:03. The race was once again well organised and the stewards were spot on. Goody bag is always something different and was better than the diary we got last year. It is always nice to have a personal reminder of the race and the bum bag will come in handy! £5 sweatshop voucher was also great. Improvements for next year?? A banana at the finish would be great. Well done Wesham...keep up the good work!

In short: Well organised race!
In full: Just got back from this race, everything about it was well organised. Parking was well marshalled, somewhere warm to wait for the start, free massages, good start with no bottle necking, spot on KM markers, water halfway (in plastic cups) and at the end.

The goody bag had morphed into a Wesham 10k Bumbag and a £5 sweatshop voucher which if you prefer momentoes to a plastic bag of cereal bars and shampoo samples (which I do) then it was a great race.

It was mostly run on small back roads, although not traffic free the traffic was not a problem. I wouldn't call the route pancake flat there were a few minor inclines but I still think great PB potential due to the wide path (i managed it in a PB of 51m previous PB 57m). I don't think there was any point on the course where I felt the route took even a second off my time.

Excellent!

Bacon and Sausage Barms and Hot Soup and Rolls available at the finish along with the optional use of a full bar.
