In short: Back again for the 10th time - love this event
In full: One small gripe about this year's event - ran out of Large t-shirts very quickly. I finished in 40 minutes to be left with a choice of Medium or Medium, so the better half got this year's shirt!

Apart from that the organisation was smooth, and the event well marshalled.

See you in '08 for number 11!

In short: I love it. Bushy Park rocks!
In full: Great company, great marshalls, great support from local running clubs. Chip timing was used which ensured accurate and really quick results processing.

In short: Get me to the park on time!
In full: Definitely one of my favourite events of the year - I returned early from holiday specially so I could run!
Shame the weather wasn't great this year - overcast and cool was lovely for running, but the rain and cold later spoiled the after-race picnic slightly. Still an excellent atmosphere at this race despite the weather.
Lovely route through Bushy Park, with excellent efficient and enthusiastic marshals - it's always good to run a race where virtually every marshal knows your name!
It's fun to run an unusual distance occasionally, and it makes it easier to get a pb too!
A very enjoyable run through a scenic park, followed by a picnic and drinks with friends - definitely my idea of an excellent Friday night out.

In short: Great Friday night out
In full: First time I've done the race but what a delightful event. Ran like a donkey in my first run in ages but loved evertything about the event. Topped off by winning the wedding cake in the raffle. Now that has confused the kids!

In short: Wed-Ding Dong!
In full: Love it. 3 years on the trot, and my favourite race of the year just keeps being great.
A unique race distance, with an very strong top end of field down to the casual runner.
The atmosphere is brilliant, and although this year's on the cricket pitch post-race picnic celebrations was rained off, the club house was warm and buzzing and those of us who braved the drizzle ate snacks in good company.
A nice BBQ, an open bar, the race is organised to perfection with uber-quick results available, and the support from The Stragglers is always second to none.

Next year can't come quick enough.

In short: As usual - a fantastic race
In full: Will be back again next year (despite the M25 doing its best to make me miss the start this year - made it by the sking of my teeth).

Highly recommend this race - though you do need to get in early as it fills up quickly.

In short: Ding dong!
In full: Brilliant.
My club The Stragglers do it again. Fabulous race, and I felt amazing afterwards.
It's a race and a half. I couldn't help but try and give my all, busting a gut to keep up with and in front of those around me - even if it meant pulling a stupid face with exertion toward the end.
It is held in a fun and gentle esteem but once you are out there it's no holds barred in a fantastically competitive way.
The field stretches through the speed spectrum, from former Olympic Silver medallists down to fun runners so all abilities are catered for.
I adore running in mid-summers evening weather and this was perfect for what I love to do - certainly one of the best runs I've done this year.
Organisation is typically smooth, the Park course is free of any traffic and it's a great short blast round some greenery.
The t-shirt is great, light material & perfect summer colour too, overall fabulous value for £8 affiliated, and knowing the proceeds go to local charities gives you a content feeling.
Wonderful gathering as usual on the Hampton Hill Cricket Pitch with music, BBQ and frivolity all around - great for everyone of all ages.
Oh and before others say it, the human km markers are in the right place having checked them on MapMyRun - and don't forget it's 7.15km not just 7km.
I'll definitely be back next year for what has now been my best performance race of the past 2 years.
Love it.

In short: Glorious Traffic Free Event
In full: Enjoyed this reace immensely. Great run through parkland on a mix of grass, rough tracks and tarmac. Marshals encouraging and friendly. Get there early as it can take a bit of driving round to park.
