In short: The Beauty & The Beast of all Races!
In full: Gales, rain, sunshine, cruel climbs, crueller descents, breathtaking scenery, sheep, mars bars, fantastic support, Dunkirk camaradarie amongst the runners. One of the best 3 1/2 hours of my life. Mind you, thats not a hill at 21miles, its a cliff!

In short: Superb, friendly, stunning and a real challenge!
In full: I absolutely loved the race - somehow managed a PB, but I think that was my stubborn nature in the face of the weather!!

In short: Fantastic- a challenge met and conquered!
In full: My first snowdonia but certainly not my last. The weather just added to the challenge and I am still buzzing from the whole experience.

In short: Brilliant. Just awesomely achingly brilliant.
In full: The weather at the start was atrocious, yet the resigned-but-happy camaraderie in the crowd of runners before the starting gun (um, a soggy air horn actually) more than made up for that. The friendliness and encouragement from total strangers continued all the way round the course -- both from runners and from spectators and from marshals too. The race organisers and marshals do a simply fantastic job, but for me it's the scenery that's made this day the high-point of my running year both times I've done it. Well, that, and the challenge of the final hill (on the way up *and* the descent into LLanberis too). Oh, and the mixture of relief and achievement and sheer pleasure on the runners' faces in the tea-and-biscuits tent afterwards. Such a great course and atmosphere that (having now done it a mere twice) I want to do it every year forever until I die.
