In short: Great race!
In full: This was a lovely race and I got a PB!
The course was great and some of the best marshals I have ever come across in a race, lots of local support in places too. The only shame is those who run over 5hrs can't join the fun and it would be a great race for a slower first timer.
But for me I had fun and it was the first time I had ever ran a marathon without my trusty ipod, taught me I can do it without!
Thank you marshals, locals and all those who took part.

In short: Top race - well I got a PB so it would be!
In full: What a great race, Abingdon is a lovely place and the race was superbly organised from start to finish.

The locals, although not that many were encouraging as were the marshalls who did a great job.

There is a 9 mile lap which you do twice, which is flat the first time you go round it but seemed to be hilly the second time?

Managed a massive PB, by 51 minutes - a reflection on the course as much as my improvement.

Technical t-shirt, a medal, stadium finish and a hot shower.

Perfect race day! If you are going to do a Marathon in Autumn next year - book abingdon!

Also met the below reviewer on the way round, who was singing as we went through the start to make up for the lack of iPODS.

In short: Great race, very pretty
In full: very flat so great PB potential for speed chasers, it's a 2 lap course which might not suit everyone but i loved it.

In short: Great race - loads of marshalls - well done to Abingdon
In full: My first Abingdon (2nd Marathon). Good race. Negatives Car Parking a bit too far from the start and a bit un co ordinated around the start / finish in the arena. Positives - Once on the way the first few miles were on roads to stretch the field out before the narrower paths. Very scenic for much of the course. Loads of Marshalls and plenty of well stocked water stations. Mileage markers well placed too. The local people came out in their numbers to support all runners, which help me get around in a pb time. great day!

In short: Nice road race
In full: Excellent organisation. parts of the course were a bit dull but the support from the crowds was great. I did wonder where we were going at the end before the finish on the running track. I did not enjoy the weaving in and out of the shoppers in Abingdon around mile 23/24.

In short: Great race
In full: First time at Abingdon and really enjoyed it, you can sense this race is put together by people who know what runners like/need in a marathon. Marshalls were excellent - well done Abingdon Amblers
