In short: Great run for a first-timer
In full: Not a race that claims to be a rival to big city half marathons, but a good, relaxed, but well organised run for anyone looking for a mid-summer half marathon for a training run. Particularly liked the personal touch of the race marshalls looking up your name and cheering you on personally!

In short: Friendly, laid back, nice circuit, well organised.
In full: Laid back approach, but well organised and excellent marshalling (they have a marshall per 20 or so racers, who clock you on each lap and docket you at the finish. Many marshals on the way round call your name from their master list, which give a nice uplift andf is a nice personal touch. Well done guys, I'll definately come along again!

In short: Very friendly, well organised and fun
In full: Marshalls were great and all cheered us on by name, which helped me particularly at the end. Everyone really friendly and the goody bag perfect, needed that. Was not looking forward to 6 laps, but actually found this helped my pace, and strangely was not repetive!? Mixture of path and grass to help the knees. Overall had great race even though not my personal best.

In short: A personal worst time and I would do it again tomorrow - absolutely excellent
In full: This has got to rank as one of friendliest races I have ever done (equal to midsummer Munro) and I have done quite a few. People don't enter because it is 6 laps but they are missing out on a wonderful experience. Well done.

In short: You've got to do this race, whatever your level. Great fun and flat!
In full: The marshalls were fanctastic, and cheered us on by name at the end of each lap. Loved the steel band and got the most useful goody bag at the end. The best local race I have run. This race now makes one of my all time favourites.

In short: A great race - very friendly, happy organisers
In full: In spite of the 6 laps it goes so quickly and that is in main part due to the friendly supporters and organisers - the kettle drummers were great too. And it's flat also!
