In short: challenging route with some up and down hills but not steep
In full: it said a t-shirt and medal for finishers but what do expect for £6-7 entry, one of the cheapest 10k races in the area, well organised, very nice cakes. enjoyed the route and could of gone quicker but unsure where the hills were so took it steady and was 30secs slower than PB so i am happy! the rain stayed away till the end so that was good!

In short: Very disappointed not to get a medal or a t-shirt when they advertised the race as having both!
In full: I don’t feel it was very fair that the race was advertised as having a medal and t-shirt for all finishers and then the organisers announce at the start runners won’t be getting anything. I could tell I wasn’t the only one was very disappointed and I certainly won’t be running again next year. Shame really as the actual course is excellent and the race well organised and very friendly.

In short: god fun and great atmostphere
In full: my first 10k race hoping for a sub 50min run but heat, snotty cold and more hills than i'm used to took me outside of that but the event couldn't be faulted.

In short: Lovely run with definite PB potential
In full: I stupidly ran this despite suffering a heavy cold. On a better day I believe I could have got a PB on this course, which had some minor undulations but nothing too ghastly.

Lovely countryside, really enjoyed the event which was well attended with friendly marshalls and supporters. Would have been nice to receive some kind of memento but I applaud Pewsey Vale Running Club's decision to donate all proceeds to charity.

Oh and the cakes were great as well!

In short: Well-organised, fast, enjoyable course, through beautiful Wiltshire countryside!
In full: I can't fault this race. Everything went smoothly, brilliant marshalls, great signposting, lovely course. It's not dead flat, but there weren't any really challenging hills. Really enjoyable. The only way it could be improved would br to have a few more spectators around the course for a bit of morale-boosting, other than that, perfect!

In short: Not completely flat but still a surprisingly quick course.
In full: A small, well organised race from the always hard working & friendly Pewsey RC.

In short: Let's discuss the word 'flat'. My watch estimates 106m ascent/descent
In full: Compared to Bristol 1/2 at 130m and Bath 1/2 at 185m, pro rata, the Pewsey 10k is quite hilly. I guess this is relative to experience and as I ran faster yesterday than I have ever run, either I'm getting better or the downhills make up for the uphills.

Still, a really nice course and atmosphere...looking forward to next year
