In short: FANTASTIC
In full: This was my second marathon but first London and what a day. Turned down for four years but worth the wait. Apart from the heat, bottles left in the middle of the road and people walking in the middle of the road too i couldn't fault it. From the party atmosphere almost from the start of the race to the plentful liquids, orange slices, sweets, vasaline, gels and high fiving as many kids as possible it was brilliant. Then to turn into the finishing straight was a dream come true, unforgetable. Thankyou to all the organisers and a special thanks to all the crowds such a help. Promised (due to the pain) never to do it again on Monday but changed my mind come Tuesday.

In short: Inspiring
In full: This is the first marathon I have done and it will not be my last. I enjoyed every minute despite the blisters at Mile 15. Even though it was hot the crowds support pulls you through.

In short: Amazing Marathon
In full: I ran with the British Heart Foundation. Great support round the route and excellent support from all involved. A special event and although I said I wouldn't run it again that is not down to anything with the event. I can see why people run it every year but, hey give some newbies more of a chance! Thanks to all who helped my with their support and encouragement

In short: 35,000 runners, 10,000 helpers, a million supporters - great day
In full: Always worth doing London, its probably not the best "race" there is but a great reminder of why we run.

Good organisation although slight problem with clock on Red start with wrong time. Well marshalled, excellent water and energy drinks, supportive crowds.

Only let down by (a) idiotic runners either suddenly walking in middle of road or dropping water bottles in wrong place and (b) cheap nasty T shirt (come on adidas you can do better)

But arace every runner should do to remind you what fun running with others is.

In short: My all time favourite
In full: My fourth , my last , my everything !I will forever remember the london marathon, the crowds never fail, the right turn at big ben is a moment to cherish, there is no sight like it to behold anywhere on earth for an amateur runner. I defy anyone to turn into the mall and take those tiring last 1000 yards without a tear in your eye or a lump in your throat.London, thanks for the memories.
