In short: Must be one of the best 10K routes in the South . Great atmosphere the organisation and marshalls were brilliant!
In full: One of the best 10k races Ive done. The route and varied terrain was excellent. Did anyone else experience the suspension bridge move up and down as we crossed! very strange feeling. All the marsalls I spoke to were were very helpful and cheerful. Had a great time thank you.

In short: Fairly hilly and I suffered from hay fever symptoms badly from 3.5 mile due to the long grass.

In short: Excellent race - great route.
In full: Great route with good mix of road running, grass, tracks, etc. Quite a few small hills to give you a good test (most in the second half !). Friendly atmosphere, well marshalled (I do not believe I have ever seen so many at a 10K), nice mug at finish.

In short: hot, pretty and unfortunately, extremely painful!
In full: can I just say a big thank you to all the support I got from overtaking runners as my back went big time at 8km. A right royal pain, for more than one reason as I was on for a PB, but it was not meant to be!

Thank you very much to everyone asking if I was ok and needed any help and thank you Mr Paramedic for the ice pack and the people cheering me on as I hobbled over the line (i refused to give up!!)

One visit to hospital later and my pelvis has twisted out of alignment and the muscles around my sacro-iliac joint are in spasm.

no running for me for a few weeks (there goes the New Forest 10 - bah!!!)

I'll be back next year though for my 3rd mug!

In short: Good race, organisatiopn a bit 'skin of your teeth'. No water in the ladies showers was not good. Could have done with an extra water station as it was so hot.
