In short: Not as good as last year
In full:
Traffic not a problem to me cos got there early - however got to where the event was roughly AND NO SIGNS guiding us into the car-park. Ended up driving miles past as did many others. This is basic stuff.

And worse - no marshals on last section turnaround point. Where were they???

I saw people turning at different points just looking confused.

This is basic stuff.

13.11 miles on my box of tricks so at least that was right but did turn in-line with a little white van if that made a difference?

The organisers need to get back on track which I am sure they will.

Points to note -
Better signs to the event "even into the car-park".
Marshals to be at their stations.
For those caught in traffic this must be fixed - although how this can be done in the area the event takes place is probably not possible.
Organise the finish area better.

All but the traffic is easy to fix - so come on people make us proud again.

In short: A few improvements required.
In full: Came to Llanelli especially for the event. Scenery was nice but the out and back loop was mentally challenging. Had the mile between 10 and 11 been measured correctly I would have had a PB. Little bit frustrating but did enjoy the morning. Must be one of the few races that doesn't have a dedicated baggage area- would have been useful for those who didn't drive to the event. t-shirt / medal ok but a banana or energy bar would have been nice.

In short: Nice run, but too many things missed
In full: Parking was diabolical - took us the best part of an hour to get out of the car park, and with a 6 hour drive ahead of me, that was no fun. The goody bag was pathetic - no point in giving them out, to be fair; I;d expect more for my money.

The course was too long - my Garmin clocked 13.29, and I've not yet spoken to anyone who clocked it at 13.1 or near.

The start/finish was great, and there was a fantastic turn out, but it just felt like too many things were overlooked

In short: Get the distance right, sort out the traffic and ditch the commentator
In full: There's no excuse for getting the distance wrong by that amount, and the traffic was a serious problem, even for those of us who arrived an hour beforehand. Ditch the commentator. Have I already said that? Alternatively, you could distribute earplugs to the runners. I don't want to know how many runners called Dave are in the race.

In short: Poor organisation, route distance incorrect, crappy goody bag, weather and scenery good.
In full: The weather and scenery should of made this one to remember, however the poor organisation and boring route made the race average at best. The entry fee of £20+ is just not justified. There was one bottle of water and some pretty useless leaflet/magazines. How about a mars bar or similar? The route was longer than 13.1 miles which led to slower than usual finishing time. I know I sound like a whinge bag but when youve travelled 3hrs for a race and paid over twenty quid you expect better. All the things are there for a great race it just needs a bit more thought and some better organisation.

In short: Scenic, flattish course. Sea breeze, but lucky with the weather. Bad car parking!
In full: I did arrive in Llanelli over an hour before, but spent 40mins in a traffic jam having gone towards the sea front first. Ended up parking somewhere different and warm up jog to the start, which was then delayed because of traffic. Suggest some signs!! Otherwise great event, not my favourite running there and back several times but at least you see the lead racers! And get rid of the commentator!!
