In short: Great...but too dry this year.
In full: Great race as always but unfortunately it was much too dry underfoot this year...compared to last year it felt like a 10k road race. I thought the stampeeding horses coming out of the gate by the coombe were a nice touch - they were definitely the toughest obstacle I've ever faced in a race.

In short: My legs are so sore!!!
In full: Well, I knew this was going to be hard when my race number was 666! My wife said, do you think it is a good idea with that number. no problem I thought, I did the Sodbury Slog easy enough. I can easily run up to 15miles.....on the flat! Can anyone run up some of those hills, they were absolutely brutal and they just kept on coming. Then the downhill was so fast I kep slipping over. Fancy fast trainers, instead of proper mud shoes.
Great day, bring on 2009, and hills listen to me, next year I'll be ready for you!!

In short: Great day.. Fantastic race, tough hills and thankfully not so much mud. Enjoyed the day. Thanks to all at Pewsey RC and all the marshals.

In short: Just great
In full: Today is the day after the Terminator. My legs are now casting their vote and saying "Don't ever do that to us again!"
Hate to disappoint them as "I will be back!"
Very good race and the best T-shirt in my collection of race mementos (there are some I only wear to clean the car!)
Keep it up organisers - you have got this race very right.
