In short: Always worth doing - whatever the weather
In full: The long drag along the main road makes it feel tougher than it should be, especially into a headwind, but a very well organised, enjoyable race. I agree with the comments about the vehicles causing an obstruction near the start, and yes, I made it 8.8 miles too.

In short: Always positive starting downhill, the siting of the St Johns Ambulance did cause a crush though. Not too many hills. A bit boring along the main road. I personally prefer some off orad stuff, but then it would not be The Ricky Road Run.k

In short: Good times in the past and Sunday was great too despite the weather
In full: Had a few races within the race, but lack of recent form did me in the end. Some lovely backsides too, here's to hillingdon harriers!next year sub 1 hour I promise.

In short: parking a bit of a nightmare,, yet plenty of side roads
In full: Nice cup of tea at the Working mens club afterwards, they should consider having some sticky buns on sale as well, they would make a fortune!

In short: Always enjoyable race, generally scenic although there is a main road section.,. Weather can be windyh
In full: Always enjoy this run. Seemed a bit lower on numbers this year and it was a bit windy, although the heavy forecast rain didn't really appear. Well organised, including road closures, although this year there was a strange decision to site the St John's Caravan and ambulance on the road just after the start, forcing a narrowing of the field while it was at its biggest. They could have put the caravan under the motorway on the pavement section near the band ! Goody bag is good value (bag itself plus t-Shirt and Tea Towel - no mug this year or if there was I never saw it. I also got a mention for my birthday

In short: Excellent Event
In full: Excellent event, 3rd time I've done it. Could do with some more loo facilities (esp. for the ladies), but other wise I shall be back every year. (And no - the last mile is NOT a full mile...i ran with a Garmin GPS, and the 8th mile marker was pretty exact, but at the finish I'd covered 8.8 miles)

In short: A mixed bag!
In full: First imprssions were bad - nowhere to park, poor toilet facilities (ironic in light of the charity. )Great race though, the band, the people, the mixed scenery/type of terrain and cracking good bag. Will do it next year no doubt!

In short: Enjoyed this, well marshalled, challenging in places
In full: I enjoyed this a lot. The marshalling was excellent. Good route, great downhill at the end. I agree with a couple of other comments about the mile markers. I am not sure I am capable of running a mile in 5 mins (last mile), but hey I'll take it.
