In short: Friendly and welcoming, only spotted one deer though !
In full: I have run at Woburn before and always enjoyed it, organisation was fine, scenery lovely and the hot chocolate and mince pie at the end welcome. This was my 10 year old daughter's first 5k and just the right atmosphere for her.

In short: Friendly race, great location, lucky with the weather
In full: Two laps of a hilly course in Woburn deer park. About half the course on grass which got very muddy, especially for the 5k runners! Good atmosphere for beginners. No chip timing and no medal (shame).

In short: Great fun, and I kept my antlers on all the way!
In full: Lucky with the weather, but wet under foot - definitely not PB material. Nevertheless, a great end of year race, well organised, and great location.

In short: Great atmosphere, shame about the mud!
In full: A good race, and the weather held for the 10K this year, a lot better than last year!
The main issue was the state of the ground, very muddy due to overnight rain. It would have made sense to keep the race to the gravel path/concrete as mucch as possible, as there was clear potential for missed footing or slipping. I nearly slipped early on, and there was plenty of mud flying around. It would have been nice to receive a medal, rather than the boot bag!
All in all a good race with a nice atmosphere.

In full: Enjoyed the race with well measured route and nice touches, rain stopped nicely but a bit muddy underfoot - but too be expected on the grassy parts

In short: great fun on a cold, frosty morning!
In full: really enjoyed this, a particularly nice touch for me being able to take the dog! Nice mix of beginners and quick runners, good atmosphere, and appreciated going past the spectators a few times (though the dog got far more support than me!)
The post-race mulled wine was very welcome too - when I finally found it!
