In short: Smooth organisation - fast course..
In full: Well worth a go because of the fast course, also good facilities at Ocean Terminal for start and finish.

In short: Well done - the best organuised start I've done and the whole course was built for a PB
In full: Well done to all concerned; abrilliantly organised event.

I had predicted traffic problems because of the bottlneck with the course and the traffic. I would suggest parking 1/2 mile short of Leith off the main road in from Glasgow as many others do.

In short: Good fast run. Well done to all involved.
In full: Good fast run, very well organised. Everyone I know had a PB! The start/finish village was an excellent addition. Given the negative comments last year, the organisers have to be congratulated on their approach; listening and taking steps to make things a lot better. Well done to all involved.

In short: Poor traffic exiting car park was worst part of an otherwise well organised race

In short: Excellent - I'll be back
In full: I've done a few half marathons, but this is the first time for me doing this one, and it definitely compares well to all the others. Very well organised, which is an achievement in itself as it's still quite a new race, superb scenic route which would have been really fast had it not been for that cruel north-easterly. Great atmosphere, great race, look forward to next year!

In short: Excellent...if you'd like a PB then do this race!
In full: Totally agree with other comments. After the 2006 debarcle, 2007 was excellent. Out with the terrible hairpins especially the soul destroying last mile. In with a terrific start and finish, great runners village and of the hairpins that were kept in, they were comfortable and not physcologically damaging!

Well done to the organisors for listening to every 2006 criticism (of which there were lots!) and for putting it right. This is a fantastic flat course & well worth getting out yer pit for early on a Sunday morning. Got a PB - knocking 15mins of last year's time and 4 mins of my current PB so well chuffed!

Marshalls - good or bad they do a worthwhile and probably thankless task from a lot of runners. Some cheer you on and some don't but doesn't mean that they don't wish you well so thanks to you all for giving up your time on a Sunday morning.

Only gripe - more toilets please. Ended up starting last again as queue for loos was soooo long. Spent the first 2 miles weaving in & out of people to get back in position!

That said, I'll be back every year if the race maintains to improve its level of quality.

In short: Excellent race... will definitely be back!
In full: Fantastic organisation, everything to do with the start/finish area ran like clockwork. Fast course, slightly windy coming back along the front but can't really complain about the conditions. A few questions have been raised about the accuracy of the mile markers, hopefully though, it still added up to a full half and all PB's achieved are valid!! All in all a great day, thanks to everyone involved.

In short: A big "well done" to the organisers...a vast improvement over last year. If this level of improvement continues, the race will go from strength to strength and become one of the top Scottish events.
