In short: A well marshalled and well organised race - thank you!
In full: Pre-race admin efficient; excellent car parking, sign posting and admin support, which included post race hot showers and hot food. Suggestion for 2010: please place a time display board at the finishing line.

In short: Would I do it again? probably but I dont want to!
In full: I left this flippin' thing alone for a couple of years and only did it again to see if that hill had been flattened! Well organised and great marshal support but I hate it.

In short: Great organisation, killer hill
In full: There is nothing flat about this course. You're always running uphill or running downhill, so no places to take a breather.

I twisted my ankle running through the ford on lap one, but have no one to blame other than myself.

Cracking organisation, would do again.

Not a fan of Palesgate Hill though - especially not the second time!

In short: Yes it does have the 'killer' hill, twice, but if you cope with it, that adds to the achievemen

In short: Killer hill in the middle that you have to do twice, but first 2km is downhill so you can make up your time then. Very stiff this morning! A good race.

In short: Well-organised, hilly 10K
In full: Hilly 2-lap road 10K with plenty of variety in a lap of two halves - urban on the downhill half, and rural on the long sometimes very steep uphill half up Palesgate Lane from the ford. Well-organised, very well marshalled, race HQ with good facilities. The two site set-up (start/car-park located about 15 mins away from finish/race HQ) is a bit of a nuisance but at least you can get from one to the other along a well-signposted off-road footpath. One suggestion: would strongly urge toilet facilities are provided at the start as well as at the race HQ.
