In short: A brilliant day out and a fantastic feeling to have finished such a great race, particularly as I ran for a charity.

In short: Great race, weather which was glorious (a lot warmer than last year) and not too many at the start for a ok get away.
In full: Was hoping for a PB as from last year, new the course to be flat and fast. Also the weather was spot on for me, as I do like the warmer days.
You could tell the organisers had got about 4 times more water than previous races. I knew this because instead of speeding off I ran with my wife who hadn't done much training for the event so saw the amount that was left even when the later runners had gone through.
It turned out to be a plesant run but my PB was about 40 mins quicker than me on the day. Good practice though for marathon pace, with me finishing feeling that I could have easily done it again (well sort of). Certainl will wander back next year!

In short: Getting better each year
In full: My fourth year in a row, shall be back next year. The wave starts introduced last year were a graet improvement, and the new route helped the parking making leaving afterwards much better than previosu years. Still think more toilets are needed ! Great race overall, great friendly atmosphere for runners (and walkers) of all standards. Best race outside of FLM I think.

In short: Fantastic weather, organisation, goody bag etc, what more can I say
In full: Superb race, great racing conditions. Knocked > 5 mins off last year. This is one race well worth returning to. Less crowded than the GNR and far less walkers, but I went with the first wave so that helped. At least you can actually start in your alloted wave, at the GNR I was so far back I may as well started last! Well done to the organisers

In short: Had a great day!
In full: Was a really good race - especially the atmosphere and crowds. The organisation was brilliant - although I would also say there weren't enough mile markers - or maybe they just weren't in the right places?

Had a fantasic day!!
