In short: Good scenery, well organised, a pleasure to run
In full: Better organised than last year when the start was a bit shambolic. A very friendly event on a scenic two lap course. Encouraging marshals, plenty of drinks stations and no traffic.

In short: A challenging half marathin but too many lead bikes!
In full: Why were there 5 lead bikes!!

I found the other "lead bikes" then riding in the pack of the runners, got in the way really.

Would have preferred the longer second lap to have been the first lap. Very twisty and turny as well as another runner said.

I found pushchairs/dogs off leads/random children wandering about got a bit in the way through the park!

Overall, enjoyed the run, very scenic in places, lovely weather. Liked the mug, makes a change from having a t shirt thats far too big!

In short: Superb organisation and a good course.
In full: I can have nothing but praise for the smooth organisation and the mainly traffic free course. Great goody bag as well. They even laid on lovely weather for us. I ran a PB beating a time that I set more than 1o years ago, smashing my MV40 best by 4mins 15s. It does undulate a little more than expected and pacing was eratic(6:33 for the 4th mile and 8:20 for the 9th)but it is a good course. I would recommend it to anyone. Well done FVS!

In short: Great day and a PB!!
In full: 2 laps of the more scenic bits of Stevenage. Very well organised. Supportive and friendly marshalls. Undulating sections hurt on the second lap but I got a PB so am all set for my next 1/2 on 11.11.

In short: Well organised race round the cycle paths
In full: A couple of laps round Stevenage's (in)famous cycle paths. Perfect weather and well organised - liked the stadium finish. The start was quite a long way from the athletics track but to be fair it may have been moved due to the closure of some of the paths at the far end of Fairlands park. Only real incline was up Gresley Way at the start, otherwise pretty flat.

In short: Good day out in the park!
In full: Thanks to FVS for a well organised race. Cheery marshalls and well run water stations. Great to see Mick 'n Phil there too.

In short: Nice weather and achieved a PB
In full: Nice course. Marshalls not as supportive as last year (with the exception of a few). They only seemed interested in cheering on the Spartans. Goody bag was poo!! No medal in mine, just a mug, some chewy bars and a load of leaflets!!
