In short: Worth waiting an extra month for.
In full: The postponement due to bad weather was handled better this year and I found overall organisation improved.
Cheap, friendly and fast what more do you need.
Beat my PB by 2 minutes so lots of satisfaction all round.
Lack of date/year on medal is my only criticism and in the end what does that matter.
Bravo Telford.

In full: Every runner worth their salt knows that events can be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. What's not acceptable is for organisers not to make themselves known on race day, when a race is cancelled. I met other runners who obviously didn't receive e-mails until very late as I had too. There were a group of us in the car park vicinity with a guy who said he was supposed to be marshalling and HE didn't know that the race was cancelled! I need to make it clear though that this chap was not a member of the organisers. The organisers claim that they were in the car park, but I don't know them from jack and they didn't have a sign pointing themselves out.

Having said all that though, the organisers did send me a refund minus the Runners World fee. I was really looking forward to doing this race, but this experience left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I may race this in a few more years time, but not anytime soon.

In short: Great race Telford AC.
In full: Well worth the wait and the travel down from Cheshire. If your after a PB do this one, I got under 36mins for the first time by nearly 30secs. Well organised and a good idea to split the race into two. Thanks to the marshalls and organisers.

In short: Well organised bargain
In full: I entered the elite race as I just about qualified, and it all went very smoothly. Good signage to the car park and start, reasonable course and a bargain price. I suspect it could get a bit crowded in parts of the out-and-back section for the mass start race, particularly with the number of dog walkers and bike riders that were out there, so for that reason I was glad I had the option of the elite race. I even managed to complete it just under the elite cut-off time as well :)

All-in-all though it's exceptional value at £6 - well done Telford AC. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back.

In short: Great people, great course, great organisation!
In full: No complaints. Unfortunate to be cancelled twice this year, affecting the attendence - a few no shows (sells out every year - so i'm told). Slightly different course to what i've seen... i'm new to running - small paths, in a park with a bit of woodland thrown in. Not a criticism just a point, paths narrow in places, so difficult to pass and got held back in places. In general course very flat and fast. Happy with the price £6(unatt), £8 (att).
