In short: Great first at this distance
In full: My first ten-miler and really enjoyed it, marshalls (and a few locals I think) were friendly and supportive, especially given that it 'persisted' it down the whole time!! Nice and flat with just a couple of inclines at about 6 and 7 miles, I'm glad I picked this as my first ten-mile race!

In short: An excellent race with enough to challenge but still accessible to a first timer
In full: A lovely race in a village setting. The parking isn't ideal but does keep the High Street free from traffic which is a necessary for the start and finish not to mention the villagers. The weather was O.K. but the rain really started to fall as the race started so a big thank you to all the marshalls. I will be back again next year !

In short: For me a challenging course!
In full: Excellent race, marshall fantastic, horrible weather but every marshall along the course and the organisers were extremely supportive, especially the ladies at the last drinks station and the one in the school. They also made me feel very safe on the last bit in the High Street. Quite a difficult course, for me anyway and it was lovely to remember our servicemen. Thank you

In short: Very good challenging, but fast race - good for all abilities
In full: Very much enjoyed the race, some challenging hills, although mainly downhill, some good open areas and good support in the main areas. This was well signed and marshalled - will definately be back next year - well done to the organisers

In short: Good course and great marshalls. Let down by the parking
In full: Ran for first time today and generally enjoyed it. Really nice course, a bit undulating but nothing to worry about and great, supportive marshalls. Only fly in the ointment was the chaotic parking on arrival, where I queued for 20 mins to get into a muddy field with knee high grass. Not great when you are running later than planned and need the loo!! Running on Remembrance Sunday adds to the atmosphere but also adds to the confusion with cars, traffic in the village. But I would certainly do again.

In short: Undulating but not a killer. Nice!
In full: Excellent race, the minutes silence made it feel special at the start. Good organisation, great people and lovely setting means i will be back next year. Bacon butty and tea for 2 quid at the end - perfect!
