In short: Great race for a great cause
In full: It's the first time I've done the Conductive Education 10K, and I was very impressed. The course was well marshalled - a loop around Cannon Hill, then up the Rea Valley path, so all quite flat. Although you're sharing the paths with dog walkers etc, it's fairly quiet so that wasn't a problem at all. I'm surprised it isn't more widely advertised, as it was a great race. It was a fairly small entry, but a reasonable range of runners, from those who were in in just over half an hour, to those (like me) who are only halfway by that point. Really friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be doing it again.

In short: POOR TURNOUT FOR A FAST, FUN COURSE
In full: Sad about the poor turn-out; what did it clash with? Was it too early? It is certainly a fast course; I was very happy with under 20 mins. Hopefully more participants next year. Perhaps next year the organisers can remove the large dog mess at the 100m point!

In short: Nice flat course in good setting
In full: This was a good 10k race for beginners as I am fairly new to running and was using this as part of my training for the B'ham half marathon. Was quite pleased with 44.29 mins.

Fairly flat course around Cannon Hill Park which is a nice place to run.

Only real complaint was the confusion over the location of the finish line as myself and a few other runners seemed to think this was in front of the tea rooms when in fact it was another 200m+. Made my sprint for the line significantly longer than I would have liked ;-) Could perhaps do with a 500m to go sign or a more obvious finish that can be seen on approach rather than a chalk line on the floor after a tight bend?

Anyone know when and where the results are published? An official told me that they would be available online the evening of the race - but I can't find them??

In short: Well organised friendly race.
In full: First time entering this race. Friendly atmosphere, and well organised and marshalled. Largely flat course but watch out for the odd stray dog!!

In short: Two laps of a largely flat course in a Birmingham park
In full: Two laps including an out-and-back section means you get to see how the rest of the field are doing. There was one turn round a post but otherwise a fast course. Cakes and squash always welcome and a nice little goody bag with medal. Impressed. PB was a bonus, of course...

In short: Great %K race in Cannon Hill Park
In full: Thanks to all, lovely race (despite some dog owners thinking we're new toys for their dog to chase!!!).

Well organised, friendly, flat, fun, FANTASTIC! Thanks to all.
