In short: Good race and well organised - cant say fairer than that!
In full: Beddington Park 10k has got it right - medal, goodie bag and good organisation. Just proves that the recipe is easy providing you get the basics right - your peers have a lot to learn from this. Great job!

In short: A great run
In full: Perfect Sunday morning run in a park. Organisation was excellent, marshalls encouraging and the sub-zero weather gave us the impetus to speed up a bit. Four laps around a park may seem boring, but it was a lovely almost flat course, with fewer races at this time of year well worth having a go next year.

In full: I searched through the Runners World website looking for a race to do and found this one. It was a short train ride away from London Victoria and then a short walking distance to the park itself. This is a good race for 10K virgins, but they may find that the Indian Monsoon which drenched all the runners a little startling!

NEGATIVE: There wasn't much of a goody bag, but being a charity event one shouldn't quibble so much. The marshalling could have been better, especially around the grassy area. I cut across on the first circuit, but there was someone to inform the runners on the next three circuits. Whoever is in charge of looking after Beddington Park needs to to do a better job of cleaning the toilets as they were of a less than satisfactory standard.

POSITIVE: The medal looked nice, but nothing really special until I turned it over at home. It was engraved with the name and year of the event, which I thought was a great move by the organisers, especially as it's a small event. I appreciated THIS small gesture more than anything else on the day. The organisers themselves seemed friendly, but perhaps needed to be a little more vocal in letting everyone know that they were the event organisers on the day when they were putting tables and chairs out between two trees.

In short: Great for a PB, 4 flat laps of a lovely park
In full: Really enjoyed this 10k and achieved a PB, as did my friend. The course is flat so it has great PB potential. There were no queues for collection of numbers as there were not many runners taking part (can't remember the exact number but 100-150). Really nice park and everyone was awarded a medal and a random Chelsea book! I'd definitely do this one again.

In short: PB Potential
In full: The relatively flat 10k always offers PB potential. Similiar to the Nov 10k but the numbers were slightly lower but this meant easy to zip round and no congestion. Good , simple organisation and a nice touch as a goody bag a football book and medal.

In short: excellent 4 lap race
In full: although i was not sure about running 4 laps over 10k i really enjoyed it as it gave me a challenge to run each lap quicker than the last. the park was lovely the race was very well organised and had a good mix of runners.a great medal and a book at the finish and this was the onlt thing that spoiled my day ! the last thing an arsenal fan wants is a chelsea book ! still it has solved my wobbly table problem hehe ! will be back gain next year.
