In short: Excellent fast race but a couple of improvements
In full: I echo everyone else's comments about the course and the marshalls, and overall this was an excellent race. Just a couple of grumbles
1. I specifically asked about water and was told "The water stations are, approximately, at 1.6, 4.9, 8.4 and 10.2 miles". I was planning to take a bottle at 1.6 and no one was offering any although bottles were there. Not a disaster but it did mess up my plan.
2. PLEASE if you are going to "ban" Ipod wearers, ENFORCE it - fed up with people tottering out in front of me in their own world. Disqualify them.
3. I got my t-shirt but I can see how people could walk straight past, better signs next time?
I hope these comments provide constructive feedback, it was an excellent race and so happy with a massive PB. Well done GBRC

In short: Very expensive, but if you want to enter a county championship race, that's it.

In short: Lovely PB course and fantastic goodie bag
In full: Another great race guys & girls. Thank you. Well organised, friendly marshalls. Lots of loos and the best goodie bag by miles on top of a technical T shirt. Medal as well! And I blew my PB away. So very happy. Back next year if at all possible.

In short: An excellent half marathon with loads of PB potential, great marshalls and a generous goody bag.
In full: This is an excellent race. The event is well organised and marshalled. The results were ready the same day.
The course is an interesting route and good for a PB. Whether its your first half or 50th this has something for all.
I will certainly be back again next year.

In short: The most enjoyable race!!!
In full: It's hard to think why you wouldn't do this one, and easy to see why it fills up so quick. I did a PB without trying - its that sort of race just an enjoyable sunday morning run. Brilliant GBRC.

In short: Flat, fast and fun
In full: My first road race of 2010. Well organised, fast, the start is a bit tricky, but after that is was fine. The marshals were good, nearly every one cheered, well manned water stations with bottle water. Nice t-shirt and medal, great hall, great tea - all good races must have a good cuppa at the end served by lovely people, and they managed this really well. Great to have prizes for all Vet categories in 5 year age groups. Even the weather was not too bad. Be back next year to bash the country roads.

In short: One of the best.
In full: Well done GBRC, brilliantly organised, enthusiastic marshalls, large turnout, suberb goodie bag including nice well made tee shirt, medal, banana and bottle of water.
Fast course but not for me I was just glad to get round due to an extreme lack of training.
