In short: This has all the potential to be one of the best in the UK. Needs a bit more enthusiasm from th epeople of Cardiff, bands by the pubs etc, bbut course is as flat as you can get and Welsh cakes at the finish were lovely!

In short: slight delay at start & too many walkers desperate to get to the front at the start, then walking after les than half a mile

In short: Be back next year...
In full: A minor problem at the start asking for hundreds of runners to move backwards, but other than that no other problems. An enjoyable race which was well organised, lots of water around which was very welcome at times.

In short: Not a bad race, even with a PB I feel a tad "ho hum" about the actual run.
In full: It was certainly better organised than last year, largely this time thanks to Mel James's enthusiasm and all round good eggness !.
The start was a little bit of a cock up though, there seemed to be no real segregation between those after a good time and those runners "out for a stroll" shall we say.It was a tad annoying to enter Westgate Street and find find some people already walking and totally oblivious to the etiquette of letting the runners who are after PBs etc through.Still took a half mile to get past some who, dare I say, looked as though they had started well ahead of the gun.
I am not knocking anyone for turning up and doing either the half or the full, but please people,if you are there for a pleasant stroll or just want to get round then be considerate towards those of us who are "up for it".
The finish in the stadium was excellent, well organised and marshalled. Thanks again Mel.
It was also nice to catch up with old friends who I haven't seen for a while due to my "problems",again their words of encouragement and support are appreciated.Thank you guys and gals !.
Love life, love running !.Be happy !
