In short: Fantastic Race
In full: The course is excellent and the hills provide a good challenge. The marshalls are very friendly and the bacon butty at the end was super value. Doe this 3 times now and will make it 4 next year. Well done to all involved.

In short: Great Race to clear the cobwebs - but beware !!
In full: The hills live up to expectations as the climb from Longridge up to Jeffrey Hill and then Beacon Fell comes at you from miles 1 through to 5!! Absolute Killer hill to the 4 mile marker. Last 2 miles brilliant. DId them in 15 mins(7.30/m), when the other 5 took me 48 mins (9.40m)!! Tough Run, but worth the effort

In short: Very hilly and very challenging but amazing views well worth the effort
In full: This was my first time doing the Longridge 7 after hearing previous good reviews. The course is challenging yet well within the capabilities of the average runner. The views from the top were amazing and it's a pity it wasn't a clear day as I'm sure they'd take your breath away (if the hills didn't). The marshalling and other competitors were friendly and it's a course I'd make the effort to do again. The Christmas pudding at the end was a real treat. The downside was that on the start time was on the entry form and I posted that form to the organisers - I received my number and there was directions and starting place but no start time (thankfully I have access to here) but I think a bit more attention here would be a good idea.

In short: Another good year for Longridge
In full: This is the 3rd year of Longridge. Weather dull and cold but not a icy as previous years. Enjoyed the run - hills remain the same challenging.
