In short: Shame we did not run through the meadows to Avoncliffe ....
In full: ...as the field did not really have time to get spread before we got to the first stile and there were more hold ups before the A36 was reached than in past years

Very enjoyable and the most local race for me, which allows me to warm up by walking to the start

Zammo there were showers and changing rooms, they were clearly marked

In short: Straight forward out and back, with some hills (not big) and a river crossing to clean your shoes
In full: A pleasant way to spend a chilly November morning. Organisation was fine, course was varied and interesting - not many hills tho for a race that has them in its title. Also no showers or changing facilities, as advertised. And was I the only person to doubt the distance? 12K really? Apart from that, worth doing again.

In short: A great race - interesting and varied terrain
In full: The course is excellent. The organisation very good, facilities fine and a warm welcoming atmosphere. You have to do this in 2010.

In short: Last ran this one in 2005, won't wait so long again - great race!
In full: Fun all the way. Friendly marshals and friendly runners. Polite queues at the kissing gates. Pretty muddy, very wet and windy. Great way to build up an appetite for Sunday lunch. Back next year.

In short: Great fun. A must if you like mud!
In full: A great run on a foul November morning. Must be mad, but what fun. Very glad to have the river crossing this year.
