In short: V. well organised. Fast course (despite the flooding & weather). Well worth a trip!
In full: Many thanks to Dave Little and his team who have laid-on a very slick race (despite challenging weather). Good course - really well marshalled & efficient race HQ facilities.

My minor suggestions to fine-tune the event are: 1) Publish a regularly updated entry / start list on the web, 2) Introduce chip timing, 3) Improve the communication at the start as the PA system could not be heard at the front of the field 4) Make the on-line course map a little easier to decipher and 4)Hold the prize giving sooner.

Overall a friendly and well executed race with a quality field. Keep-up the good work. Many thanks - shame I missed my target time by 58 secsonds!

In short: Flat and fast and a well organised race
In full: I really enjoyed the race. Nice and flat with a good stretch along the seafront. Couldnt have asked for better weather considering the gales we had the day before!
Marshalls were fantastic and the whole race was well organised. The best bit was the massive 'packed lunch' we got at the end (lovely piece of cake by the way).
Only my second half marathon, got a PB and will be back next year.
Can we have chip timing? Due to the numbers, it took me 15 seconds to cross the start line apparently!

In short: A Good Race Made Great
In full: As one of the few who enjoyed last year, i had no trepidation in returning. The course is lovely with plenty to hold the attention, gliders, planes, hovercraft, rainbows, seafront, art deco architecture the list goes on you just need to look. The marshalls were great and gave good encouragement especially in the swim section! The goodie bag was amazing but the best bit was the homemade slice of CAKE, thank you whoever baked it and bagged it I enjoyed it very much. Oh and I got a PB so thanks again Gosport RR.

In short: Friendly marshalls, enjoyable run
In full: M3+M27 made the journey down extremely quick and parking was simple - close to the start.
Although the airfield was dull, the marshalls were very friendly and the miles went by quite quickly - I like seeing the leaders run past in the opposite direction and waving to friends who are 2 miles ahead of me. Last few miles along the seafront were lovely.

In short: Great race, best goodie bag ever, just needs chip timing
In full: Great to see last years comments turned into positive improvements for this year. I can't see why runners moan about the airfield section(s), it is traffic free, flat and wide. The water feature was not ideal but was certainly memorable (and cold! The marshals were very encouraging. The run along the prom was great. Will be back next year and hope the cake is in the goodie bag again :)

In short: Good PB potential, best goodie bag ever, some narrow parts.
In full: A well organised and well marshalled race; a big thank you to all involved.

The course is flat with good PB potential, although there are some narrow parts along pavements where it can get a bit tight.

The goodie bag was more of a lunch bag! (best I've ever had!!!). Thanks to the band to keep us going.

Had to go through interesting 'water feature' (ankle deep flood) twice which was kind of fun even if it did knock a few seconds off your time!

In short: Nearly there! Just a couple of niggles and Gosport RR will have cracked it
In full: All the important points in place: good start/finish, parking, loos, race hq, enthusiastic marshals, and I loved the band!

Points to work on: (1)a marshal at the 8.5 mile course split is needed (2) contingence for circumnavigating the puddle like a pump, or a mown track to the left of it with that lorry removed and (3) get runners in the road where there are extensive domestic driveways. Sub 7 or 8 min milers don't appreciate that type of terrain unless its a long slow training run.

Nearly there - well done
