In short: Now the "big hill" has gone a fast race with excellent PB potential
In full: Much faster race now the big hill has gone and for once not a baking hot day so real PB potential - personally I knocked 9 mins off last year's time and 5 mins off my previous PB!

In short: A very well organised race, would have preferred the distance markers in km's for a 10km but other than that a good race! Very twisty and full of turns in the town.

In short: RW said it was flat/undulating? ha! More like the Sound of Music!
In full: Some organisational hitches (ie I didn't see the start line when running past it) but the marshalls were exceptionally friendly and full of cheer, especially as it drizzled/rained most of the time. Good finish, lovely course; nice touch with the free gels and drinks!

In short: A wonderful race, the best this year.
In full: A very efficient and organised start, people did get mixed up from the pens they started in but it only took 5 minutes to get everyone from the green, to the pens, up to the start and off running. 2 laps allowed you to scope out the hills on the first lap and pace accordingly the second time around. Everyone was very friendly and my husband and daughter said this was the best race for spectators of all the ones I've dragged them to.

In short: A good race as always

In short: On what was probably the hottest day of the year so far, not too bad
In full: First time I have done this particular Harrogate course, and as I remember it, this one is a lot tougher than the old course. A bit chaotic at the start, asking you to line up in your supposed finishing time zone, then walking to the start where everyone got mixed up again. Waited quite a long time for the presentation, but started to get very hot and left, so I don't know if that ever happened. All in all, not a bad race, and we did spend a good night in Harrogate afterwards.

In short: The heat made the run more challenging, but it was still a good 10k

In short: Start a bit confusing and I only got the Tshit, I thought there was goody bag too??
In full: More water stations on a hot day like that would have made it much easier for beginners. Being two laps didnt quite help, as it meant going throught he same hills twice!! A great day out for my family too though

In short: Very hilly and interesting race but no water at the end which on a very hot day was terrible.
