In short: Great Chaalenging Course
In full: First time I have done it and I am a bit of a plodder. Great marshalling - very encouraging. The ascent up to the hill was a good workout, and the hill got me, especially second time around. s it's local to me i will now use it as part of my training to strengthen my hill and ascent running. Enjoyable, will be back next year, hopefully better equipped and with a better time

In short: Well organised, great course. Nice Race
In full: Parking, chip collection and bag drop super, even had time for a coffee. 15min walk out to start worked well for warm up. Race itself was two laps of a gorgeous grass/gravel circuit with a testing little section at the 2k/7k mark. A relief after the second time as the last 3k was all flat or downhill enough to try and claw some seconds back. Marshalls were lovely, as were the runners. Water, banane and medal at the finish. Well done to all involved.

In short: This was only my 2nd 10k race, and although the terrain appeared simple enough I found it harder than expected. Was pleased with my time of 50 minutes and would definitley do it again.

In short: Lovely Scenery
In full: My first race since 2003! I entered online, got my number in good time, collected my chip no problem and was at the start in good time. The scenery was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed the race even though I found the grassy/muddy bits hard going. I'm definitely coming back next year.

In short: Such a pleasant event. They want you there. Great course, will test beginners
In full: Facilities great (bit chocka for parking) but on day registration was smooth. Little walk to start point - warms you up. Chip timing was good. Grounds of Knole Park are lush and there is plenty to see from the high ground. All the deer had scarpered! Twice round the course and the hill at start bites you on the 2nd leg but once thats over it's a great smooth downhill to the end. Fast finish as well. One water point just on the 2nd leg. Good encouragement, plenty of supporters (nice weather brough them out). ONLY grumble would be the bottle neck for those that came in around the hour plus mark as they had to bunch up over the chip timing mat and then get down to single file for medal collection. Medal is good because it has the event date on it. Same walk back to the car was good for warm down. Will do it again I am sure. Thanks go to rotary club, marshals and supporters.

In short: 2nd time I've run it and already looking forward to next year as its a lovely friendly little race.
In full: Very pleasant small race, challenging course but still beginner friendly as you get a real sense of achievement completing it. The organisation is by the local rotary club so doesn't have to professionalism of, say, Paddock Wood half but is very endearing and has a huge amount of charm; and of course its a much smaller event. Inexpensive, the money goes to good causes, friendly, challenging but great for beginners, just an all round great event.

Shame I ran so badly thought :(
