In short: Great run
In full: Great Race! Good organisation and good atmosphere. Nice scenery - my god, was that actually a German WWII U-Boot on the side of the road? I do not agree with the staged rivalry theme between the cities and I thought the Liverpool course was quite flat - the tunnel exit seems steeper and longer from the car. London and Glasgow did perhaps have more difficult courses to contend with.

In short: I am officially quicker than the rush hour traffic :)
In full: For some unknown reason I really love the concept of running through the tunnel - that would make it a good race on its own for me. But there were so many other positives aspect of this race, and the great view for the last third of the race which is why I really liked it.

The free train travel is very, very welcome as well and something I'd love to see more races organise. Its obviously important given its not exactly for those of us who aren't Jesus to walk back to our cars, but there is no reason why more races couldn't do a deal for free public transport to and from the race really.

I don't like the concept of this 'average time challenge' against other cities though. Surely the city with the most runners, or most under a hour would be a better way of achieving what the organisers want to achieve. Going on about which city has the fastest average time being important is hardly going to motivate thos people who would finish outside the top 50% to take part really.
