In short: When the going gets tough - the tough lasts for 13 miles!
In full: Excellent race organised by enthusiastic and caring people. My first time at this event and it wont be my last. Enjoyed the course very much even though I don't normally do mud and hills. The route is well marked. Very rewarding scenery in lots of places. Thanks again to the organisers and marshals and those at the water stations for a terrific day.

In short: A beautiful race by friendly people
In full: Liss Runners can be proud of this race, great marshals, drinks at the right station, a friendly welcome at the finish and a lovely medal. The course is murderous but very scenic with varying terrain and many testing hills, both up and down.

This is my first time running the race and it's up with with one of my favorites. It has it all! Well worth the trip from London.

In short: Some real tough hills but beautiful views on high ridges
In full: This was a real toughie with some step climbs and lots of mud. Super marshals and a big thank you to the lovely young lady at the water station at 10 miles who had the largest bowl of jelly babies I have ever seen, which provided a lift for the last run in. Well done Liss Runners

In short: The best MT HM I've ever done
In full: There are so manmy positives to say about this from the organisation, the friendliness of all involved, the marshalls on the very well marked course to the star of the day, the run itself through varying country, up & down hills, some quite steep. Loved the Marshall at the 8m mark, gave her a hug and left with a bounce.
