In short: Even the rain couldn't put a dampener on this gem! In full: Can't believe that I have not done this race before especially as it's on my doorstep. Fantastic race with loads of nice touches and great value for money. Slick organisation and more marshals than you can shake a stick at. Quote of the day was one very encouraging marshal urging us to take the jelly babies 'before they drowned'. Thought Petts Wood Runners coped fantastically with the hideous conditions which made this the perfect race warm up for the cross country season and will definitely be back next year! In short: Great route, great organisers and great race stewards. In full: Excellent race, definitely the most enjoyable so far! Despite pouring rain, copious amounts of mud and a few cheeky uphills, this race was brilliant!
A great day out, spurred on by the excellent race stewards who, despite the rain and mud, stood in those woods and cheered every single runner on like a friend.
Well done Petts Wood Runners! Date of review: October 14, 2013
In short: Fantastic again despite the weather! In full: Just wanted to add my thanks to the marshalls - absolutely fantastic yet again! Thoroughly enjoyed myself, despite a face plant at 8k! Well done PWR! Date of review: October 14, 2013

In short: Fab In full: I always enjoy this race. As strange as it sounds, the foul weather made it even more enjoyable. From being ushered into the "VIP toilets" (they were at least warm and dry, I didn't want to come out) to the awesome support from the marshalls around the course, a really great way to spend a Sunday morning. Can't you run this twice a year (at least?). Date of review: October 13, 2013
