In short: Excellent well organised race
In full: Undulating course with no real steep climbs, good spectator support and excellent goody bag at the finish. Very windy on the day which took away chance for a PB

In short: Good race despite the wind; but pedestrian access issue
In full: I enjoyed my run despite the gusty wind. It was at least dry! I was disappointed that 2 gates onto the Showground that I tried were closed to pedestrian access, one opposite the Premier Inn (unlike in March 2011). This was not great just ahead of the race. The map for entrants shows lots of gates and those closed should be marked.

In short: Enjoyable course, fab goody bag and LOVED the purple medal ribbon
In full: Two lap course starting from Norwich Showground around the surrounding countryside. You don't actually go anywhere near the City of Norwich itself. One very shallow, long hill and one slightly steeper one through the college campus, but still great potential for a PB. The goody bag was generous and I loved the medal - purple ribbon and just a little bit different. The day was fairly windy but added to the challenge, boy was it good to turn a corner and feel it behind you for a change! Toilet queue must have been one of the fastest moving I'd ever stood in....so well done on the organisation and facilities.

In short: Organisation, course, facilities, marshalls, support in fact everything first class -shame about the WIND
In full: What a fantastic race. All round every thing was excellent from car parking to changing facilities to medal, T-shirt etc etc. But most impressive was the course. Mostly flat and some nice down hill stretches, unfortunately the wind which, when head on, felt like trying to run through water ! I did manage a PB but only by 40 seconds. Will be back for definate next year.

In short: A Fantastic Half Marathon
In full: This is my 4th City of Norwich Half Marathon in as many years and it just keeps getting better and better on all levels. First class organisation, excellent atmosphere, facilities, car parking, t-shirts and goody bag. The medal is excellent quality as promised and the race is excellent value for money. The course (2 laps) is a definite PB, but not for me yesterday, (lack of training and heavy winds) however is was my second fastest time on this course. Well done to all those involved in organising another great event.

In short: Oh the wind
In full: Defintely would of had a PB for that course if it was not for the wind. Goody bag full of useful snacks this year rather than loads of advertising. Organisation is excellant.
Thoughts are with the family of the young man that sadly passed away during the race
