In short: Friendly atmosphere
In full: As a running newbie I really enjoyed this flat-ish race and appreciated the support from the stewards. Will be back next year

In short: Flattish 15 miles
In full: Not a bad race, and good for a training run. Start seemed a bit ad hoc but I'm sure it was fine. Marshalls and drinks stations all excellent. Car parking and changing fine. A couple of hills but nothing too major. The heat probably slowed us down a little bit. If I'm being really picky it would be nice with less cars but there really weren't that many and I would do this again if I was around. Showers were a bit hot though - did they think we all had crabs?

In short: Well organised, nice scenery and good PB potential
In full: No secure baggage drop. Very encouraging marshalls - thank you! A quite small run, especially the 15 mile race. Well organised and nice home made cakes afterwards

In short: More like 7.7 miles !! According to our GPS and our splits this race was 7.72 miles
In full: Please please check and double check the distance because I've done this two years running and if you took the measurements literally I did the last half mile at 10 minute mile pace !! not bad for an 8 minute miler :o)) who was sprinting. Fellow atheletes all bear this out.

In short: an enjoyable race will be back next year.
In full: Really appreciated the great encouragement from all the marshalls. The start line was a 5/10 minute walk from the race hq and with no indications were it was, this led to some confusion amongst new runners to the event.
