In short: Great race!!
In full: This local race always runs smoothly with no frills just a great well organised race.
The registration was well organised as was the start with the announcements giving plenty of info. Parking plenty and thanks go to the locals for putting up with all these people asending on Bishops Caundle on a windy Sunday morning. There was more than enough drinks stations and marshalls around the course mainly organised by the BV Lions.
Well done BV

In short: Undulating or Hilly? Probably Hilly
In full: A well marshalled race through the Dorset Countryside. Undulating with a much anticipated, and daunting, kick at the end. Very friendly. I'll be back next year.

In short: Hilly, windy, challenging!!!!!!!!
In full: A well organised excellent race! Thank you to all of the marshals braving the blustery wind! Tougher than I expected, and hills were quite long, especially the last mile. Very pleased to say I ran that last hill and was determined not to be beaten by it. Also got a PB so all in all a successful day!!!!

In short: A reasonably tough challenge for those of you looking for a challenge.
In full: Simply an awsome event if you like a reasonable
challenge. Tough and some long hills but not as bad as running xc type of gradient

In short: Great scenery - but beware the hills!
In full: A great big THANK YOU to the BV Lions for organising this and to all the marshalls for standing out in the wind!

A tough race, made tougher by the wind I think. The last hill was tough, but (just about) doable.
Great atmosphere with lots of runners coming out to support us plodders after they had finished. Wouldn't recommend to beginners purely because of the hills!
Gorgeous scenery. All mile markers/water stations well signposted.
Very good price. More than happy to pay it, especially as it is raising funds for the Lions club.
2 small improvements - try to do something about the crush through the gateway at the start and put some info on the webpage about where & how many water stations there will be.
Got a 'hilly' half PB so very happy! May well be back next year!

In short: Good little half this, along country roads and not too big a pack but roads still open!.
In full: Being in rural Dorset there isn't much in the way of support apart from the odd local and the BV Lions (Great Job guys)at the drink stations. Even the locals who turned weren't exactly vocal but this happens at loads of races I guess, as you are cheering the people you know .

Think they need to revise the description on the web of 'undulating', I didn't really know what to expect but there are a few significant climbs not to mention the last mile up to the finish!

In short: Love the last mile!!
In full: Great race, really friendly and a lovely course through lovely countryside. Would definitely do it again, even though the last mile and a bit is tough to say the least!

In short: I live in very flat Cambridgeshire which made the hills challenging - but in a good way (I think!)
In full: Lovely friendly race, well marshalled with good organisation from start to finish. Disappointed the chip timing appears to have started with the gun so chip times slow (20 seconds in my case) but then with pb potential limited by those hills it didn't matter too much. Only thing to change would be the position of the start on the field to avoid the bottle neck 70 yards into the race. Oh, and flattening out the hill at 5-6 miles and the one at the end would be great too!!!!!
