In short: A good challenging hilly race!
In full: A nice scenic route with plenty of undulations. Some quite hard uphill sections especially at 6 miles, but everything evens itself out with the last 2 miles or so being downhill.

In short: Challenging hills for a beginner
In full: It's really hard going to races when you are unafilliated to a running club and on your own. However I found this race to be really friendly and regardless of the running vest being warn everyone was really chatty. As for the race itself, I had heard whispers of a challenging hill at mile 6 and yep I found it! Actually I personally thought right up to mile 7 it was mostly uphill! But I really enjoyed it. The organisation was excellent with plenty of encouraging marshalls and cheering volunteers on the way. Left with a nice little memento and tired legs but with a big smile on my face! Thankyou to the organisers and volunteers.

In short: Well-organised, friendly, scenic hilly race.
In full: Very under-rated race - the organisation (by the Lytchett Manor Striders) is excellent, very friendly and supportive marshals.

Lovely rural course, no real traffic to worry about, and some excellent views of Poole Harbour and district from the course's higher points.

Course is hilly, so not a PB course, but makes for a good workout and training run, but with a very fast downhill last couple of miles.

In short: YES I KNOW MY SHOE LACES WENT OPEN!
In full: :-) Sorry, just can't stop during a race to put my laces right. Did cost me a new pb-time.

Special thanks for the Police cover!

In short: Excellent race, well organised and a great atmosphere. The hilly bits got to your legs and the downhills were okay.
In full: The marshalls along the route were excellent and very friendly always encouraging people along. Many Thanks to them. Would certainly do it again next year.
