In short: Easy but breezy
In full: Very nice for my first 10K. It's not perfectly flat, but only gentle inclines. Only downside of the 2009 race, for me, was the wind which always seemed to be in my face. Also, the queue at the end while they manually noted who came in when was a bit of a downer, as I ran to the "finish" archway to get my time, then had doubleback to go to the back of the queue, which will not produce an accurate result.

In short: Lovely run through nice country park with enthusiastic support
In full: Nice undulating route through Rushcliffe Country Park, along trails, a little bit along the path and across a (still in use) road, but marshalled well. 2 laps of the same route, which was fine as it's so pretty and variates a lot (did get lapped by the front runner, but no matter!)
Special thanks to the extremely enthusiastic bunch of young cheerleaders at halfway point and just before the finish - braving the blustery squall that blew in at the end!
Lots of fun, will definitely do it again.

In short: Good course - single track path in places
In full: Unless you have the spirit of a cross country runner the hard paths quoted course is narrow in places - think 2 tyre tracks - PBed but congested in places.

In short: Scenic, busy, well marshalled and a very pleasant run
In full: First time I've seen queues for the gents! One urinal? It was like being a female participant!Never been a fan of laps, always seem to remember the harder parts of the race rather than those easy sections! But this run was gentle with some little gentle inclines (couldn't justify calling them hills)The weather was a little warmer than expected when the wind dropped!

In short: Pleasant parkland 10k, traffic free, almost flat
In full: Expecting gales and driving rain, so a very pleasant Sunday morning, in sunshine and a bit of a breeze. I think the last kilometre was a bit longer than the rest though, my splits were pretty consistent throughout, the last km was nearly 30 seconds longer!!
