In short: Worth the way up for the way down
In full: Painful going up but feel the wind in your hair on the way down. Note can be also a bit dangerous - I had a heavy fall after tripping at full speed on the way down. Had to get x-ray to confirm I hadn't broken a bone in my foot

In short: A fantastic event! My first time running this and I will definitely be back next year - loved it!!
In full: Hilly, lumpy, painful - what better way is there to spend a Sunday morning!
The event was very well organised, the marshalls and supporters were fantastic, the scenery stunning, the post race goodies and medal made the hard slog well worth it, and the whole experience was very friendly and enjoyable (and I don't even like hills)!!
First timers were made very welcome - I would recommend this race to anyone:)

In short: Nice event but oevrpriced
In full: Second year of doing this and it is an excellent wee race. Had a sprained ankle so probably shouldnt have run this so found the course pretty challenging particularly on the downward trip. Organisation and friendliness wise it cant be faulted much altough with one wee pointer....they need to put a marhsal at the turn up the tough stairs climb where it turn in the last mile as I completly missed the turn last year and almost did it again this year.(as did rhe winner last year.didnt seem to slow him down much though)

Price wise I still think its really expensive and yes i concede htere are nioce touches and prizes but Im struggling to work out where 36 quid a head goes if you break it down considering it is niether chipped not requires road closures....other than tha a nice little race

In short: Leith Hill keeps on keeping...
In full: Another great Leith Hill half marathon. Still tough, painful, face grimacing fun :) The full English breakfast is very welcomed.

It's my third year and won't be me last, hopefully!...

Congrats to Claire Weldon, the first lady over the line, smashing the course record.

In short: Another Trionium Triumph
In full: Dr Rob has a savage streak but like Box Hill another tough race but the scenery, the camaraderie and the enthusiasm of the marshalls and spectators made this very special. I ache but I am smiling and I will be back. A very big thank you to all the Trionium team and all the marshalls and spectators. Oh and I love the goodies at the end and all the quirks and special touches that make a Trionium event stand out - truly superb.

In short: I hate hills but somehow loved this race!
In full: - Great organisation, brilliant motivating marshalls, Jelly Babies at every water station!
- Very tough course, I ache in new places but amazing scenery and picturesque throughout the course.
- I was well towards the back of the field but was still cheered on as much as the front runners and there was great comaraderie between all the runners.
- Amazing goody bag; spectacular medal, technical t-shirt, glass paper-weight and best of all free full English breakfast!

I still hate hills but I'll see you next year!
