In short: Fun in the hills In full: Another great event from Dr Rob, this was my first half marathon and what a day to do it - glorious weather, superb scenery, hills, cheery runners, encouraging marshals, more hills, good support at the finish line, free race shirt and event pint glass! and a nice breakfast to top it off afterwards. I shall pencil it in again for next year. Keep up the excellent work. Date of review: March 16, 2014

In short: A great race, this year with added fabulous weather In full: Tough as ever but the countryside is beautiful, the other runners pretty cheery and the spectators so enthusiastic. Thanks to Dr Rob and all the marshals. Same time next year? You bet Date of review: March 16, 2014
In short: A glorious run in the sun In full: With the fantastic weather this year, if there is a better half marathon out there I'd be surprised. On a Spring day like today, the scenery is breathtaking, that is if the hilly terrain hasn't already taken all your breath first. As usual, the organisation, atmosphere and marshalling were all top notch. The wife carrying beforehand just adds to the atmosphere. Thanks to Dr Rob and all the Marshall's for a simply fantastic race. Date of review: March 16, 2014
