In short: Great run even in the heat. With the thermostat turned down a bit, would have been a real quickie.
In full: Pleasant scenery. Flat as a pancake. Very friendly and nice homemade cakes at the end. Perfect!

In short: Yikes it was hot! But lovely views over the fens and lots of friendly marshalls
In full: My first competitive 10k, ran a PB and wasn't last!! The heat was scary but tried to enjoy the views across the fens! Lots of friendly marshalls, 2 major water stations with marshalls carrying water and cups at nearly every other K so good for that. Really nice finishers keepsake - will do again

In short: A good potential PB course, drinks and quality momento were appreciated.. Fun run would be better if not on the main route that runners walk to get near to the start.

In short: The heat was a problem - but we can't blame the race for that! Very well orgnanized and a great memento for finishers.

In short: Flat, fast course - definite pb potential on a cooler day.
In full: A well organised fast and flat 10k. Far too hot for running today - but definite pb potential - even more so on a cooler day!! Good parking, marshalling and organistion - and great first aiders....with special thanks to the lady who treated my sprained ankle at the finish.

In short: Good race - shame about the start
In full: Overall a good race, flat course through nice countryside - just a shame about the rain. Race spoiled by a shabolic start with runners facing the wrong direction and no-one to tell them any different until some rude official made them turn around. Seemed strange that with five minutes to go and everyone lined up to set off they then had to move to let cars through.

In short: Good race let down by the start
In full: On the whole this is a good race but one or two tweaks could be made. The start was really crowded and could the organisers please make sure everyone is at least facing in the correct direction when the gun goes off next year. No 6 or 7 km markers, bit stingy at the water station - my paper cup was only about 1/4 full and a really grumpy and rude official at the start.
Other than that good value a nice course and a PB made good day out.

In short: Get it sorted
In full: Excellent course after the first lap of the housing estate is over and done with, but please do something about the start. Half the field were facing the wrong way when the gun went off.
