In short: Excellent, challenging course.
In full: Some previous comments spoke of killer hills and yes there were inclines but it a course with PB potential because I managed to get one.

In short: Pretty Taxing Slopes
In full: a good race, with some quality athletes. The fact that they make you go up the hill 4 times is a little nasty and the gradual slope up to the finish is a little bit of a nasty one too! overall, very good organisation, nice and friendly and nice T-Shirt which will no doubt add to Mrs BJ's pyjama collection...

In short: Never pb material, but encouraging traffic-free course round one of London's parks
In full: Well organised race, good standard. Bit boring doing 3 and a half laps (which were undulating, if not hilly) but it was traffic-free. The marshalls were very encouraging.

In short: Pleasant course, but deceptive inclines!!
In full: I would've enjoyed this more had I not been recovering from a cold, but a very pleasant Finsbury Park and the beautiful, bright Spring weather cheered me up even if the inclines didn't!
Somehow I managed to do a lot better than I felt I had, although timings shown later on the website appeared to be about 30 seconds slower than I had timed myself.(I did start a little further back and without chip timing I guess it can't be exactly accurate, but still...:-))
A couple of gripes I did have was the lack of signposting; the start line wasn't easy to locate due to being marked on the tarmac as a thin orange line, and although I did eventually find my freebie t-shirt afterwards, the collection point wasn't particularly clear. Also, the brief before the race would have been far clearer had a megaphone been used as, apart from those at the very front, no one could hear a word. Luckily, this was a simple course, but I imagine some beginners might have appreciated knowing what was going on!
Overall, a nice race that I would probably do again.

In short: This race provided a first time 22 year old have a nice weekend. It
In full: The race was set in a lovely looking Finsbury Park. The area is nothing special, but the park itself is a delight, with a smooth carriage way to run on. Having come back to running for the first time in a long while, i found the race very enjoyable, leaving you feeling healthy and fresh. Very worthwhile to kickstart that late new years resolution.
