In short: Fantastic atmosphere!
In full: A great run, well organised along a route taking in the sights! Excellent organisation, everything has been thought of.
Quite pricey, but free lovely t-shirt, finishing time is txt to you within a couple of hours of finishing, and drinks provided free on-route and at end.
Not great for PB since too crowded although route is flat.

In full: I spent the hour before the start queuing first for the loo then for baggage check in then for the loo again and didn't get to do a warm up any thing else. However, the actual race was brilliant and not too much waiting around before we crossed the start line and bags of freebees when we crossed the finish.

In short: My first half marathon, and polar opposite from the poorly organised Asics 10k. Great day!
In full: Loved it, didn't have any problems with the baggage storage. Didn't need to use the toilets, but the queues were pretty long, so that's probably the only negative.

Most runners selected the right pen, saw very few walkers in front of me until the last few miles, and it's fantastic route. Will certainly run it again.

In short: Like the London marathon but smaller & shorter!
In full: Where were the free boost bars?! Damm missed those. Actually thought the complete opposite to some of the other reviewers - I only counted 4 people walking before the half way mark (I started in the middle of the pink pen). Thought it was amazing so few people were walking compared to the Asics London 10km.
Race was fantastic, only extra thing would have been a goody bag at the end and sunshine but you can't have everything! Was lovely that the definite majority were running for charity.

In short: Great race, pretty much completely flat, weather conditions were perfect, lovely course and great PB potential, only con is the number of people - or the fact that too many people !
In full: Brilliant race, my fav half so far (only done 3 though!). Weather conditions are perfect-cool but not too cold, fairly bright and no wind. Thought this race has great PB potential as pretty much flat, just a few slopes here and there but nothing to trouble a regular runner. Great atmosphere and even when there aren't lots of supporters around, the scenery is great and distracting. Only downside is the number of people, I do prefer smaller races, but then the amazing organisation comes with the bigger races I suppose. The one downside was people going to slow at the start - saw this on another review, people walking in the first mile or getting annoyed when you overtake them. Try and stick to a realistic time pen! Over than that great great race, and enjoyed the millions of free Boost bars! Will definitely be back next year!
